This is the Wild Card Garden

Also known as the Chaos Corner, the Gambler’s Garden, or the “well that just happened” section… this is where second chances live. Here, labels went missing, totes were spilled, varieties got mixed, blooms stayed hidden, and yes… mischievous cats and escape-artist chickens made cameo appearances.

Rest assured, these tubers are healthy! The only uncertainty is in their timing or exact identity. Some are fashionably late to show eyes, some previously grew beautiful plants but kept their blooms a mystery (rude), and other’s identities are completely unknown. To keep things fair and transparent—especially as this is my first official sales season and I want your experience to match your expectations—I’m offering these tubers at a modest discount to reflect their quirks and unknowns.

This is all normal in the dahlia world or at least it is in MY dahlia world— and I just can’t bring myself to toss these potential beauties aside. In the words of Miracle Max “There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive” and we all deserve a second chance (plus a little discount.)
